Powervault, a leading UK home energy storage provider, has received an order from JXTG Nippon Oil and Energy Corporation, one of Japan’s major energy utilities, in a study on virtual power plants and second life batteries. Powervault will share its expertise in UK markets, seeking to outline innovative solutions that can be applied in Japan.  

Last week, State Minister for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS), Kwasi Kwarteng, came to Powervault’s manufacturing site in London Bridge. In our labs he explored how storage and flexibility are key for a Net Zero carbon economy and how Powervault’s national market-based solutions can contribute to this.
