As we continue to progress into the twentieth century, the question of energy production and consumption continues to become ever more pressing.

Last summer we announced our partnership with nHouse, a manufacturer of prefabricated, sustainable homes, and nHouse confirmed that Powervault storage systems will be installed in all newly constructed homes. This month, production in the new nHouse factory in Peterborough will begin.

A community project in the transition village of Forest Row, East Sussex, has been announced as the winner of a grant fund in the M&S Community Energy Fund, and we are proud to support their project with the donation of a Powervault energy storage system.

At Powervault, we want to know that your smart home battery is fitting in with you and your home. We spoke to customer Glen Brown in Tamworth about his experience with his Powervault.

BEIS and Innovate UK have awarded £2.5m to a consortium of smart technology providers, including Powervault.  The P.e.t.e. Project, which began in July, brings together a strong consortium from sustainable energy companies to demonstrate the potential for individuals to provide a balancing service to the power industry and improve energy efficiency in the home.

Powervault has been getting some exposure with former Red Dwarf star (ha ha) and Scrapheap Challenge legend, Robert Llewellyn, on his Youtube Vlog The Fully Charged Show. The channel is dedicated to discussing: Electric cars, bikes, boats, and planes [and]… how we generate and even own the electricity to power these machines.
