Our business development manager Charlie Vey joined the company in September last year and has consistently beat his sales targets, with April being a whopping +200% over budget. Charlie also secured our biggest order to date last week from an exciting new distributor partner, Gibbs & Dandy. They own a network of 30 local builders merchants serving the building trade – significantly extending the size and scope our customer base. They are part of the Saint Gobain group, one of the world’s leaders in distribution of building materials. They also own Greenworks training academy whose mission is to educate the trade on sustainable building solutions. Powervault and Greenworks will work together to roll out training on selling and installing our product.
Charlie said “we’re really pleased to have signed the deal with Gibbs and Dandy to begin supplying Powervaults. Builders and electricians will be an important additional outlet for our product. This really bolsters our current sales channels to solar installers via our national distributor partners Bonus, Libra and Ahead Renewables.”
Meanwhile, in another exciting extension to our existing customer base, Powervault has agreed a deal to provide energy storage systems to a National Energy Action-funded field trial of its storage technology working in conjunction with Cheshire East Council, Go Lo and Energy Projects Plus.
